Before you ride

A focused checklist for a cleaner first setup.

Setup support is designed to reduce uncertainty before the first ride. Work slowly, keep packaging nearby, avoid forcing components, and contact MotionVelo when fitment, assembly, or product condition does not feel right.

01 Inspect the bike, apparel, part, or accessory for visible shipping damage before installation or use.
02 Match included parts against the product packaging, order details, manuals, chargers, fasteners, and tools.
03 Confirm that moving parts, mounts, closures, straps, and adjustment points operate smoothly without forcing.
04 For bicycles and components, complete a slow safety check before any full-speed ride.
Setup guide

Common questions before the first route.

These notes are not a substitute for professional bicycle service when a product requires advanced installation, torque settings, brake adjustment, drivetrain work, or safety-critical setup.

What should I do when my order arrives?

Unbox carefully, keep all packaging, check the item against your order, and inspect for visible damage. If something appears missing or incorrect, contact MotionVelo before installing, wearing, or riding with the product.

Can MotionVelo help with component compatibility?

Yes. Send your order number, the product name, your bike model, and a short description of the fitment concern. Clear photos can help our support team understand the setup context.

Should I use a professional mechanic?

For safety-critical work such as brakes, drivetrain adjustment, wheel setup, torque-sensitive components, batteries, chargers, or uncertain bicycle assembly, a qualified bicycle mechanic is recommended.

What if apparel or protective gear does not fit?

Contact support with your order number, the size ordered, and the fit issue. For helmets, gloves, eyewear, and ride apparel, do not continue using the item if the fit feels unsafe or uncomfortable.

How quickly do MotionVelo orders ship?

MotionVelo orders ship in 3–5 business days when ready to leave our store. If you have a setup question after delivery, contact support with your order details and product information.

Need setup help?

Send the details before forcing the fit.

If a part does not line up, a component feels uncertain, a bike setup needs review, or gear sizing does not feel right, contact MotionVelo with your order number and clear product details. A few careful notes can prevent avoidable installation issues.
